The Magic of Your Flowers

What I learned on my big day is that our wedding flowers are a really important part of our ceremony and reception. If you're anything like me, fresh flowers provide comfort, just by having them around. They're also just pretty and we all... well, we all like pretty things don't we.

That's partly why I put so much time into my wedding flowers. I even spent the whole day before my wedding DIY'ing my centerpieces with all the important women in my life. It was an incredibly fun and meaningful day!

Your wedding bouquet will be with you, giving you comfort, as walk down the aisle. Your centerpieces and decor will provide ambiance for your event and photos. Your wedding flowers can even give your guests something to talk about - they can be an ice-breaker so to speak.

They will also set the mood and even tell your guests a bit about who you are and what kind of lives you want to live.

So, What's your wedding style and what kind of story do you want your flowers to tell?

Do you want to keep it simple? A simple floral bouquets, centerpieces and decor tells the tale of a couple who appreciate the small, beautiful things in life. Calla lily bouquets or and simple centerpieces will help you tell this story well.

Do you like big, grand designs? Grand floral designs tell the story of a life filled with opulance and abundance. Tall centerpieces or rose wedding bouquets provide an excellent backdrop to your wonderful tale.

Do you want to create something unique? If you decide to go with unique bouquets and decorations you're continuing the tale of a couple not afraid to be different or to try new things. Fruit centerpieces and lively, bright bouquets are one way to begin your adventure-filled chronicles.

Is budget top of mind? Perfect! Budget wedding flowers tell your guests that you are practical and despite valuing your big day, you'd rather spend your money on the rest of your lives. Candle centerpieces and natural-looking cheap wedding bouquets adds to the legend of the couple who knew what mattered to them.

Feeling Stressed Out About Picking Your Wedding Flowers, Bouquets and Centerpieces?

A wise friend (the very friend who helped me DIY my centerpiece) told me that you can't do your wedding flowers wrong. Think about it - you're working with flowers which are beautiful even just lying on the street.

So, have fun. Be creative. And (of course) be you!
