Blue silk flowersIf you choose to go for silk flowers instead of fresh, you will find a good choice of shades of blue.
Silk flowers can be easily got to match any wedding color combination. They are a good choice if you are looking for cheap wedding flowers too as prices are often much more reasonable than fresh flowers.
Blue flower arrangementAnother option and the one I chose was to stay away from blue in my flowers altogether. Instead I chose ivory roses. You could substitute white, cream or champagne colored blooms depending on the shade of your dress. I used foliage and freesia buds to give a subtle touch of green and lift my bouquet to ensure it did not blend into my dress.
If you are going for a contemporary theme here you have even more options with tropical blue flowers or by adding a zesty lime colour to really give the wow factor! Lights at your wedding reception are another great way to add sparkle! Back from blue wedding flowers to more wedding flower ideas...
